About Me
Hello there. Welcome to my website. My name is Paul. I completed a web design and development course that taught me how to create responsive HTML&CSS web pages, so I created this domain. The purpose of this website is the production of an accessible resumé and portfolio for potential clients or organizations that need services or are hiring.
I want to get something out of the way right now. I have a disability. If you are viewing this website and are prejudice to disabilities, stop here and exit this window.
I have aspirations. I have life goals. I long to be the best version of me possible. And in my travels, I long for others to reach for the same. Prejudice has no place on my timeline.
I graduated from an American public high school in 2005. I spent a year at a State University of New York (SUNY) immediately after high school graduation with a focus on world-wide web development. The university is listed further down on this webpage. I pondered the future in terms of readiness in the workforce if I stayed in the program, and I came to the conclusion the program would not prepare me to compete in the academic field. I would, however, maintain a hobby for web development for many years.
After leaving the university, I went on to work in many fields and occupations until the year 2016. In 2017, I decided to make another go at web development in another SUNY university which is listed below. Yet, I have moved into a different field since 2017 — that of Business Administration.
During my time working in different occupations and fields prior to 2017, I worked my way into managerial roles in a couple of organizations. I enjoyed my time in such positions.
My dream jobs are management in a web design company and management in a not-for-profit disability services organization.
People with disabilities have needs of life fulfillment just as anyone else born into this life have. Working has a place in such fulfillment. Please, hire people with disabilities. Work with us to fill voids and roles in our lives and your organizations.
Clicking the envelope icon at the top of my webpages will open your default emailing application to get you started. You may also visit my contact page for more ways to reach me.
I wish you all the best in your life endeavors, and I hope there are people and organizations out there willing to hire someone that wants to work for an organization with a good mission, disability accessible, and promotes disability inclusion. I can be that someone.
